Creative Head Designer
Upcycling Vintage Denim into Trendy & Sustainable Fashion
At Riaaj Vintage, I lead the design and development of unique garments by reworking old vintage denim into stylish, eco-friendly fashion pieces. I manage the full creative process — from sketch to shoot — and guide the team to bring each design to life with quality and creativity.
My Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Sampling
Create 4–5 new concept samples every week, using reworked vintage denim. I work closely with pattern masters, tailors, and embroidery artisans to ensure each piece is unique and well-crafted.
• Production & Quality Check
Oversee the production process and ensure quality checks for samples and sometimes full-scale production, making sure every piece meets the brand’s standards.
• Print & Graphic Design
Design original prints and graphics for garments. I also handle all brand materials like lookbooks, banners, logos, thank-you cards, brochures, and business cards.
• International Buyer Coordination
Work directly with buyers from the UK, France, Dubai, Bahrain, and other countries — sharing new designs, developing custom samples, and building strong working relationships.
• Photoshoots & Styling
Plan and style fashion shoots for each collection. I create a lookbook with creative names and direct the full visual presentation.
• Fashion Show Planning
Organise and manage fashion shows — from garment preparation and styling to background videos, scripts, and working with event organizers.
• Team Leadership
Lead a creative team including interns, graphic designers, and stylists — making sure each project runs smoothly and reflects the brand’s vision.

In my capacity as a Fashion Designer at Shree Chaitanya International, I am responsible for closely collaborating with the sampling team to develop concepts, conduct market research, and coordinate with international brands while also analyzing industry trends. To achieve these objectives, I oversee a range of activities, including the creation of mood boards, the conduct of print and silhouette research, the organization of garment shoots, the preparation of PPT presentations, and other related duties. Through my work, I strive to maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a clear, concise, and error-free manner.

In my capacity as a merchandiser at THE RAJ LAKSHMI COTTON MILLS, I am responsible for closely collaborating with senior merchants and undertaking a range of activities related to product development. Specifically, I assume responsibility for all product development processes subsequent to receipt of the tech pack from the senior merchant. In my role as a fashion technician, I meticulously check all sample measurements and fittings in accordance with the tech pack specifications provided by the buyer. Upon completion of the sample, I conduct a garment shoot and prepare a well-crafted PowerPoint presentation to showcase the final product.

As an assisting intern at CREATNET SERVICE LTD in Noida, I work closely with senior Fashion Designers and undertake a variety of tasks related to the design process. These tasks include trend research, silhouette exploration, print exploration, sample development, mock development, embroidery mock development, tie and dye, hand marble printing, and collaborated presentations and mood boards for buyers. Additionally, I am responsible for colour closing for prints and samples. I also conduct garment shoots and ensure that everything is executed with precision and care.

As a fashion designer working at VGL Groups in Jaipur, I specialize in designing performance clothing for individuals aged 50 and above who reside in the United States. To create my designs, I conduct extensive research on the changes that occur in the human body after the age of 50, as well as the climatic conditions in the USA. This involves a thorough analysis of fabrics, design processes, trend analysis, market research, boards and silhouette exploration. I also incorporate functional clothing elements as per the industry brief to ensure that my designs meet the needs of the target audience.

I am a fashion designer who is exploring the culture of Farukhabad. This includes the craft lifestyle of artisans and their unique skills. Farukhabad is particularly famous for its block printing. During my time there, I learned how to make blocks, create colours for block printing, and execute the printing process. I am now leading a design collection project focused on "Block Printing", where we will create a range of block print designs through concept design, silhouette exploration, trend analysis, market research, and brand marketing. Our ultimate goal is to highlight the beauty of Indian craft to the world.
